Who We Are
Plumbers Kahibah is the local plumbing crew for Kahibah, a small valley suburb where the houses are mostly older, the blocks slope, and the drainage has history. We handle the full run of work: blocked drains, hot water systems, general repairs, gas fitting and emergency callouts.
There is no head office and no call centre. You ring (02) 4063 3446, you talk to a plumber, and the job gets quoted before anything starts.
Why This Suburb Keeps Us Busy
At the last census, 2,603 people lived across 1,043 dwellings in just 1.1 square kilometres. That is a lot of plumbing packed into a small, wooded valley.
Most of it dates from three building waves: pre-1940 cottages, postwar fibro and weatherboard, and the brick-veneer streets that followed.
Each wave leaves its own mark on the pipes:
- The township core around Hexham Street carries some of the oldest private drainage in the district, with century-old earthenware lines that have spent a hundred years settling into the valley floor
- Interwar cottages hold onto galvanised water services that deliver more rust than pressure
- Because so many homes were renovated in the same 1990s push, the hot water systems age in step and retire in step
We know that pattern because we work it every week.
How Every Job Runs
The deal is the same whether it is a dripping mixer or a collapsed sewer line.
$0 call out.

Licensed plumbers only.
Made right, no questions asked.
What We Cover
The work splits into four streams, and every one has its own page with the detail:
- Emergency plumbing for burst pipes, overflowing toilets and no hot water, same-day where the schedule allows
- General plumbing for bathrooms, kitchens, toilets, leak detection, meters, dishwashers and gas fitting
- Drainage for blocked drains, sewers, stormwater and CCTV camera inspections
- Hot water for repairs, replacements and new installs
The Ground We Work On
Kahibah drains east toward Glenrock Lagoon through Flaggy and Little Flaggy creeks, so nearly every property sits on a fall. Managing sewer and stormwater grades down valley-side blocks is routine design work here, not an exception.
A few other things shape the job:
- Reactive clay under the lawn moves with the seasons and stresses old pipe joints
- Summer storm cells dump rain faster than the lagoon-bound channels cope
- Winter nights run cooler than the coast, which is hard on ageing tanks
We also cover the neighbours: Charlestown, Whitebridge, Highfields and Adamstown Heights.
